Sleep and Neurodiversity. This workshop will be led by our guest speaker... and is designed to support parents and carers by providing practical knowledge, strategies, and reassurance. Together with our guest speaker, we’ll explore ways to promote healthier sleep routines that are tailored to the unique needs of neurodiverse families. You will learn why sleep can be different for autistic children, ADHDers, and others with neurodiverse profiles, the impact of sleep on learning, behaviour, and emotional well-being, common barriers to sleep: sensory sensitivities, anxiety, routines, and body clock differences, practical strategies and sleep-friendly environments, tools that can help-from visual supports to calming bedtime routines, and where to go for further help and professional support. Coffee and tea will be ready. No fees.
Let us know if you would like to come and bring your child, so that we can help to provide a safe space to play or rest.
